School Council

What is a School Council?

Here at Grove Vale, we have a group of School Councillors who have been voted by their peers to stand up and represent their class friends. Our councillors are responsible for giving suggestions to improve their environment and community, propose potential changes and events to their peers and implement these changes. We work together to make our school a better place.

What do we do?

Our councillors meet fortnightly where we discuss new ideas. The children arrive at our meetings full of new and exciting suggestions ready to share with the group. We work towards creating a plan and then the councillors share this with their classes.
