Our Autumn Topic Information
This term we are looking forward to exploring, learning and asking questions about...
Exploring Brazil - Geography
In this topic, we will be exploring Brazil and its physical geography. We look at urbanisation and how this impacts the country. During the unit, we further develop our knowledge of maps and learn about the culture of the country. We research a range of locations within the country, specifically looking at Rio de Janeiro in particular.
What do you know about Brazil?

World War 2 - History
In History, we will look at the end of World War 1 and how World War 2 began. We use timelines to order events within the period and compare events within countries involves. Throughout the unit, we use a range of sources to discuss different thoughts, feeling and experiences of people who were lived during the war. The sources also allow us to learn more about validity and how we can use these to create a bigger picture of the time period.
